I went to a wedding at the Thatched Cottage yesterday and it was lovely! I love the basement room for cocktail hour and our waiter (Jose) was so quick and friendly. I had the chicken montmorency, which was pretty good. I heard the salmon was delish! The couple chose carrot cake and it was one of the best wedding cakes I've had. The only complaint I have is that the downstairs bathrooms (cocktail hour) were filthy. There was literally black dust piled on the exhaust fans and tiles falling from the ceiling. I would ask the waitstaff to direct my guests right up the stairs if they need to use the restroom during cocktail hour, or double check to make sure it's presentable at your final meeting. The restroom on the main floor was totally clean and presentable! Overall, the wedding was really great and you TC brides are in for a treat!
Also - Tommy Tunes was the DJ and they did an AWESOME job. Everyone was dancing the whole time and it was a rainy day wedding. I had a blast!

My cousin had her wedding here in July and I agree that it was beautiful. The cocktail hour food was awesome. I just did not like the selections for dinner. Everything seemed to have mushrooms and I hate mushrooms.

i went a few years ago now for a friend's wedding. by far, the best food we've ever had at a wedding. they probably had literally, 20 different stations during cocktail hour - and the servers were extremely attentive during dinner (continually refilling drinks and running around all night). we really loved how they hand-carved the meats at the table for the entrees too. they were fabulous. our friends got married off peak in jan - and got a really fabulous deal on all that food.
