Thats it...I am moving to Venezuela!!!

Original post by mrsdraskin2009

I just read on AOL Money that gas in Venezuela is 12 cents per gallon

And all the Middle Eastern countries like Qatar, Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are paying less than 50 cents a gallon

FH says that in europe gas has always been expensive... they paid 7 dollars a gallon last time he was there.

He's right. They also pay more for gas in Canada. I believe Canada is paying approx. $5.00 right now.

I think when I was there it was even more expensive than that. They have a lot of taxes on gas to try to encourage people to take public transportation and walk places.

Yea well- that's because they have their own refineries. Even so, where Chavez is I will never go and I won't buy Citgo because I will fund communism. He can take his gas and shove it.

We have enough oil in Alaska to keep us going for years, so we could do it ourselves, but 'they' just choose not to.

We definitely need an alternative energy source. Windmills, waves, solar power, anything!

i know! i think i read somewhere though that at our rate of consumption the reserves would maybe last 50 years or so.
