Lisa - Did they have boats to pull people in if they got too tired? What if they had a run in with a shark???

yes they had support boats to take you in if you were too tired or too far off course (the current dragged people towards the bridge and fighting the current was way tiring).

Some people did it without wetsuits!

I saw a few people get dropped off by boat, and another guy (without a wetsuit) get put in an ambulance. But everyone else made it.

No I have been to Cove Haven still Ceasar's though we enjoyed ourselves had a good laugh at the 70's decor!

he wants to also do the run across Golden Gate after the swim -you can choose to do the swim or the swim & run

I am ok! I have 2nd fitting tomorrow- Don't think I have hit panic mode yet!! But I might if I don't fit in my dress--darn beers~!
