The Apprentice

Re: The Apprentice

I agree - I thought his apt was really gaudy....all that gold and that fountain(!) is NOT my style, but with the views, and who knows what else we didn't even see, I'm sure it's still beautiful.

Could those girls have jumped up his butt any faster when he turned on the fountain?! That was hysterical.....I guess they'd do a lot to win

She's drop dead gorgeous!!! I know he's got a lot of money and all but Donald is sooooo ugly and that hair !

Maybe it isn't his real hair

I liked the show and yes his girl friend is beautiful!!!

Sam is super annoying.

Did anyone else see a resemblence between him and Gillbert Godfried

Oh my that show has me hooked. I did not leave my seat the whole hour and a half.

Here are my views:

1. Donald Trump - that hair- is it a toupee?
2. His apartment was gaudy as hell
3. The ladies need to stop acting so catty- why are we like this?
4. The guy Kwame who picked the location- what was he thinking - he is from NY, he could have done better- though he did do some great negotiating for free stuff
5.Sam and that whiny voice- oh he has to go-

Don't they realize that when you brownose and kiss a$$- you need not make it so obvious?

I really loved this show- cannot wait to see how it unfolds.

Oh yes that girlfriend was gorgeous- wonder how long she will be around.

I missed the end - how did the doctor guy get fired? Does Donald just pick somebody or do the apprentices vote?

And that idiot Sam - trying to sell a cup of lemonade to that old guy for $1000. Jeez!

Donald makes the final decision- gives an explanation and says- Your fired!

Yes, what was he thinking selling that lemonade for $1000- O h boy

Re: The Apprentice

Annie...donald asked everyone who would be the worst leader...and everyone said Sam except Sam...who said David...

then Donald told Troy the project leader that he had to stay and pick 2 others to stay...and Troy picked Sam and David...they left the room and Donald talked with his two people - they brought the 3 back in and had them plead their case for a bit...then Donald made the decision...

WHAT AN AWFUL APARTMENT!!!!! Dh said he has to have it gaudy b/c he hosts presidents and heads of state...but come on...I couldn't live in there...I'd get a headache...

and what was Kwame thinking...maybe the Seaport would have been OK...but under the bridge??? at least go onto the Piers!!!

I still think Wall St would have been a good place...people in a rush don't have to go into a store...

We are hooked!!!

Re: The Apprentice

they needed to be on Fulton street...not the fish market to get the people on their lunch breaks. I always go to the seaport but NEVER the fish market...duh!

I liked the show a lot - Sam won't survive another board room meeting, I'm sure. Tammy probably won't make it through too many board meetings either - she's not a team player. She spends too much time putting on lip gloss...

I can't wait to see next week - it was filmed in my office. I work for an advertising agency and I think next week is the episode where the project takes place here.

Re: The Apprentice

and how bad was it that the guy at the end of the table talked back to Donald? He said something like 'I wasn't finished' and interrupted Don....after he had been put in his place by something....ouch! I'm glad Donald said something back b/c that's so obnoxious regardless who you're talking to!!

Re: The Apprentice

I like the dynamic of the show, especially the board room where DT gave them 'advice.'

As for Sam, he was really annoying. They kept on stressing on the show 'following the rules.' I think whether or not Sam will stay depends on whether he follows DT's rules.

Since I am a self-professed reality tv junkie, it is safe to say that I'll be hooked!!!!

I'm with you! Becky's comments on it made me laugh, too.

And Donald Trump bugged me, too. MAN he can't act his way out of a paper bag! I mean, he was ok when he was in the boardroom but in the beginning when he had all those canned lines he was speaking from his limo?! Yikes.

And I cannot STAND Tammy. Ugh.

But I am dorky MBA student and I am getting a real kick out of this show... hehe

Though I had my issues with some of the hopefuls, I have to admit I am very impressed with people who pursue higher education- MBA, PHD, etc.
