I would have liked to have seen some 'real' women not all these skinny, pretty girls (I'm not saying any of them are not intelligent) - just wondering if half of them were average or had some extra meat on them and weren't piling on the makeup and doing their hair the entire time, if they'd be winning or having to use a completely different strategy.

I can't keep the skinny mostly blonde ladies straight - which one is heidi? The one that hates golf? Then I agree!! I think she's the one that practically threw herself across the conference table for the ad campaign episode.
The shameful part of that episode was that they didn't have to tramp it up with the flight attendent outfits. The campaign was incredibly edgy and should have won on it's own. Going into a presentation dressed like that would have been a sure fire way to not get the job, IMO.
I wonder how these women conduct business in real life.

That's girls...I'm so mad because I missed it. I fell asleep watching Will & Grace because it was a repeat and so boring...I woke up when ER started...slept through the whole darn thing!!

Using their looks and charm for selling lemonade was cool at first but now they are just propogating a stereotype that these women have no brains but are all T&A and these are professional women with MBA's. Unbelievable.
I thought with Sam gone the guys would win. I'm so glad they are combining groups!

This show rocks....
I like Nick, but he kind of lamed out last night. The girls are using sex to their advantage but hey they were smart in that they knew to focus on the bar.....most people know that in any restaurant that is a huge profit margin. Ever go out to dinner and not order any drinks? You save so much $$...
I think it will get interesting when they co-mingle the teams. Im going to guess ---the winner is Erica or the short haired blonde for the women and for the guys either Bill or Nick.

The whole Nick incident has me thinking. On the one hand, he did not demonstrate 'team player' qualities. Of course, he was star quarterback in highschool so he's used to the spotlight. (as told to me by the intern in my office who knew him back then)
On the other hand, it takes guts to stand up to your team when you believe that they're being unethical.

Nick did not stand up to the team until after the fact. If he was against what they were doing, he should have been more vocal at the restaurant. He also should have been able to give suggestions as to what they should be doing.
The thing that annoys me most is that the men are always complaining about the project manager, but they do not offer any suggestions as to how to do things better.

I definitely agree that it took a lot for Nick to stand up for what he believes but I think he is alienating himself... (which in my opinion was sort of unethical but sort of the same as using sex and getting drunk with the customers... )
I think that sometimes the guys do try to give their opinions to the PM (pr mgr) but the PM does not listen or take their ideas into account. I think Kwame is very smart as was Bowie but they both seemed a little too book smart and not enough street smarts thus their unsuccess at selling enough merchandise...
I think Nick lamed out during this challenge because it was his 'strategy' this episode - if you remember from the beginning of the show he says that he thinks the PM who loses usually gets fired so he didnt even want to be the leader during this challenge. Then he found something they were doing very unethical (which may have really disturbed him) but I think he just kind of lamed out using the unethical thing as an excuse to be mad -- he knew that by doing that, it would probably not get him voted off and he was right. We'll see what happens next week if he is leader of if they mix the teams up.

You took the words out of my mouth. I personally believe these women are selling themselves very SHORT with this whole 'sex sells' routine...they are all very bright, accomplished women and they are embarrassing themselves on national TV! I was pissed that Donald wasn't harder on them about it...
IMO, women in the business world have it DIFFICULT enough without being seen as the 'weaker' gender, or being objectified b/c of their gender by male co-workers. These women [on the Apprentice] are actually playing right into that stereotype and setting the women's movement back too many years! As a businesswoman, I am offended!

I was actually embarassed for them when Trump and the woman that works for him, actually had to tell them that the Sex Kitten thing is getting old!! I can just imagine what was going through the woman (that works for Trump) mind....she was like, these woman are going to set all woman businnes execs back 50 years!!
These woman are certainly not showing the young woman today how to really make it in business!!

what I don't understand is that Nick is a COPIER SALES PERSON.. the go door to door, make cold calls, it's like the WORST job in the world- yet he's successful.. but he couldn't get peopel to come into the restaurant.. (although planet hollywood does suck- so it was sort of a sh!t restaurant for them to pick)
