I got the itch too. Atleast I know I have to wait until after the wedding. But once that is over it is baby making time

I am feeling the same way!!! My FH and I have been together for almost 8 years......all my friends either have children, or are about to. Totally itching.

But I really want to get a house before even considering trying....oh and I am getting married next year ha ha ha ha

Yeah, we want to wait until a year after the wedding when we start looking for a house. We want to be out of our apt before kids so the kid doesn't have to sleep in a dresser drawer

I don't have it yet.... I mean, eventually, YES. But now no, and no for another 3 years!

We want to be married for 2 years before we start trying (we don't live together) so we want to enjoy the time together first!

Sometimes when I play with my niece and nephew or I see FH playing with them, I get the itch. But I know that I am no where near ready to have a baby yet!

No itch here! I'm itch free!

Re: The baby 'itch'...

God... I feel it all the time. When I am in the mood to be itching I think of all the positives, like we just bought a house, we are both gainfully emplyed, our friends have babies and we will be married.

But then I sometimes I think of the negatives, like we would have to get a babysitter to go out at night, babies are EXPENSIVE, we still want to travel together and we enjoy being single.

Who knows.... it's a tough choice

I get it whenever I am around my friends baby....but I am def not financially ready for a baby. We'll be waiting awhile

I was a little nervous that everyone seemed to have the 'itch' until I read yours Right now, I have no itches at all...hopefully in the future, but at this time...not so sure

Re: The baby 'itch'...

I understand the feeling. My brother just had one (my first nephew), and he's now 2 weeks old. So whenever i see him or shop for him I'm ready for one, but then on the flip side I like having the freedom to go to happy hour when I want, sleep when I want, and all that ya know???

ohhh the sleep and the freedom lol something I haven't had since I was 19. My baby boy is well worth it though.

Nothing wrong with that!! I used to pull all of the heads off my dolls, so I'm not sure if I'm meant for motherhood
