I saw them all on Good Morning today....Brooke looked beautiful and you could tell she was still very upset but she handled the whole thing very well. At first they had Brooke in a separate room and interviewed her first. She said she was still hurting but she is very happy for the two of them and she will be okay. When they showed clips of him asking Helene to marry him, Brooke took the earpiece out of her ear so she couldnt hear it. She said she didnt want to go through it again bc last night was like she got broken up with all over again. When they switched to the interview with helene and aaron they looked happy but she said she didnt want to move to springfield right now bc she doesnt want to risk her job in case it doesnt work out. That right there tells you after all the press is done with they will probably go their separate ways. When asked if they were going to get married their answer was 'it is too early to tell' and they both seemed as it they knew they werent going to. I think he should have picked Brooke bc she would have moved for him and be there for him in his career and with his family. Unless.... he knew it would be easier to get rid of Helene bc in reality maybe he didnt want to be with any of them. HMMMM But anyway later in the interview they invited Brooke to go in the room with the lovely couple and she agreed bc she wanted to congratulate them. As she walked in Aaron said to her you made me cry last night....and she just gave the both of them hugs and wished them luck...You go Brooke!! Hope this wasnt confusing just wanted to give a recapfor those who missed it...and PS I did notice that Helene was in different clothing when she left after the date...RAT hehe Well in Jan there is going to be THE BACHLORETTE STAY TUNED

I saw the GMA show this morning, and I still wasn't struck by Helene's reaction, but I did feel that Aaron was still hung up on hurting Brooke. At least he has a heart! I felt so bad for poor Brooke - she couldn't watch or listen to the replay of the rejection/proposal. She held it together very well, and I was very impressed that she went into the studio w/them on live TV to congratulate both of them.
I thought it was very wierd when Aaron said that Helene 'knows I can't move.' I know Aaron has a very established career at his family's bank, but there are reasons to be open to compromise in a relationship that may result in a marriage. That's like saying to Helene, take your time and decide if I am right for you, and when you're ready pack your things and move here! Not fair in my opinion.
However, I think the idea of giving a long distance relationship a chance is a very good decision. In Helene and Aaron's case, he can obviously afford to travel to see her frequently, or pay to have her come to him.
Me & hubby were long distance (NY to SF) for almost a year after we met, and it gave us a chance to get to know each other and decide if we were marriage material. Thank god for business travel b/c I don't know what we would have done otherwise!! LOL! When it came time to discuss moving closer to one another, we considered both options - him moving to NY and me moving to CA. Hubby already had the experience of living in many different places, so I decided to go to CA b/c I had never lived any place beside NY, and I wanted the experience of being someplace else for a few years. Hubby agreed, but promised me that if I really wanted to, we would come back to be closer to my family and friends. It's all about compromise!!
I hope it works out for them. I have my doubts, too - but, not b/c they will be long distance! LOL!

Great updates !!! Thanks Just makes me like Brooke more, who I see handled herself like a class act. I'll never forgive Aaron for breaking her heart (LOL, like anyone cares what I think) Of course Helene wouldnt be jumping to move to him, she is way to cautious for that. Maybe that's one of the reasons I think I liked Brooke better, she wasnt afraid to live and let her hair down. I don't see him and Helene working 'forever' but it could've happenned w/Brooke, she would be a dedicated wife. But then again, I do see he wanted someone established when it came down to it. A challenge I guess, well we'll see how far his challenge gets him

I understand both Helene & Aaron being hesitant about moving because of their established careers - in fact I think that's what drew them together in the first place (the fact that both are independent) but what I dont understand is that wasnt this presented to the the ladies especially in the beginning of the show - the fact that Aaron would NOT relocate to be with a potential wife? Also- it seems that some of the ladies on the show were looking to be actors and this was their chance to break in to hollywood- but not for Helene as she truly seems to love her job (she has a masters & I think a PhD in educ.) so she must have been in it to find true love? I dont know- its all so strange - I dont understand why either one of them would put themselves out there only to not compromise in the end......but I dont think Brooke was meant for him either...she needs to experience life first. As a couple though, I remember reading that all of the ladies took compatibility tests and Helene & Gwen scored higher than Brooke not that that means anything but maybe that helped his decision? I'm just rambling now....

hahah she said it a million times! she even said it on GMA today.
Did everyone love Brooke? I don't mean to be horrible but did anyone notice how she never had an opinion of her own. She was all about impressing Aaron, which yes, is very selfless of her but come on, have a mind of your own once in a while. She is only 22 years old--Aaron is right that she needs to date other men for a while!

Interesting .. . I didnt see GMA but the 'too early to tell' comment stick out like a sore thumb. Are they really engaged or what? I can understand not Helene not uprooting herself in the middle of the school year to move. It may not be easy to land a job in a school district mid year.
I think the entire marriage aspect of the show should be toned down it's so unrealistic. How could anyone actually decide to marry someone in only 7 weeks, under the glare of the camera crew and knowing about all the other women involved. Lets get real and call with this reality show!

I don't even know where to begin - Helene's reactions to everything just struck me as fake and rehearsed. I know the night I got engaged, I was jumping up and down like a fool!!!! She was a little too calm - I don't know, something just struck me the wrong way.
I'm actually surprised she said yes to the proposal!!!!! And this whole thing about not moving - then why the heck did you say yes?? Why would you stick it out with a Bachelor who lived on the other side of the country if you knew you had no intention of moving???
The whole thing baffles me - but God, am I hooked!!! I'm going to miss it next week!!!

I saw the GMA show with Helene, Brooke and Aaron. My sis taped it for me. I think Aaron felt bad for breaking Brookes heart. I must say again, she was a class act, as much as the hurt was written all over her face, she still hugged and congratulated them. When asked if she had any questions for Aaron, instead of drilling him, she said no. When asked if she would'be moved it Sprinfield if she had been chosen, she just said she didnt know. And that it didnt matter anyway. She was GREAT !!!!!
My sis also taped the view for me, which was hilarious. Helene seemed a little more relaxed in this interview, and even made a few jokes. We'll see what'll happen, but for now, they are suposedly being cautious, and having a long-distance relationship.
Now I have to watch Late night(I was sleeping at the time), and Carol whatever he last name is show (the one who took over for Rosie) My sis watched it this morning, as I was driving to work. She said it was a great interview, the right questions were asked. She taped both for me.
I just can't get enough !!!!

I agree with Misha -- I thought Brooke was sweet and maybe she came off better on TV, but she was too agreeable, too young and didnt seem to have much life experience. She's a college student cmon people- of course she is intrigued by Aaron! I am 30 and I know that I have changed and grown a hell of alot since i was a 22 yr old college student - for one I am way more independent.....and have learned alot about people - I think Brooke has lots of learning to do, Helene on the other hand seems colder because she is older and wiser. Brooke was selfless to the point of annoying. I know Helene didnt seem sincere or excited when she was proposed to but cmon she's on national TV - the whole situation is a little strange....and unconventional. Of course she is going to keep her guard up. I know I'm in the minority, but I liked Helene better even though her South Jersey accent annoyed the hell out of me too! But Brookes twang was annoying too!
