The Bachelor Party Planning Has Begun! UPDATE

FH 'told' me the other day that his 'boys' are planning the Bachelor Party.... 4 days/3 nights in VEGAS.

1. EXTREMELY happy that his friends are planning something terrific for him.

2. COMPLETELY trust him

But... I was a little taken aback by the date - 3 weeks before the wedding. I really felt it was a little too close for comfort.

BUT... I have preached forever that you don't need the boys around to do details and they are entitled to go away and have fun....

I WAS a little miffed that I was 'told' and not at least 'asked' (even if it was just out of courtesy and not for real)....

So... I guess I'm not as laid back as I thought I'd be....

Oh well.....

I think I'm just JEALOUS! (green with envy)

oh boy! I know exactly what you mean though about the planning! FH & his friends have started to plan his too!

3 weeks before the wedding, I guess he wants to releive the 'wedding stress' But you have it all together leese!

Don't worry Lisa, 3 weeks is plenty of time for your FH and 'the boys' to have their fun and then get on their best behavior for your wedding!! And don't make a big deal out of not being asked, this is just something he needs to do w/out 'permission'.

You're unneedlessly stressing over it, you know you can trust him, try to calm down. No need to be jealous tho, I'm sure your girls have something planned for you as well, and even if they don't, you just had a kick a$$ shower!!

Yes.... I know rationally that all will be fine - I'm more worried about myself than him....

I just like to get something out of the deal. Here were the two disclaimers...

1. He has to visit coach while there and get me something pretty.

2. Anything wedding-related I do that weekend he can not critique. He will have waived his right of refusal.... Table Numbers...here I come!

whatever, all we need is for these men to SHOW up on the wedding day.

I know!!!! He should have consulted a lawyer - but too bad! He was in too much of a rush to get the 'agreement' over with!!! YIPPEEEEE

Yea... my fh's bro & friends want to take him to vegas too (4 weeks before)... it'll be fine!!!

Just plan yours the same wknd! That way you'll be occupied too.

I am going to Vegas for my bachelorette party. You need to ask your MOH to start planning a lavish party for u too. See how your FH feels about that.

The party was supposed to be a few guys but all the married men from college got together, lobbyied their wives (with offers of Coach purses probably) and now it's grown to 10 guys and counting!!!!

Girls, I need to top him!!!!!!
