FH 'told' me the other day that his 'boys' are planning the Bachelor Party.... 4 days/3 nights in VEGAS.
1. EXTREMELY happy that his friends are planning something terrific for him.
2. COMPLETELY trust him
But... I was a little taken aback by the date - 3 weeks before the wedding. I really felt it was a little too close for comfort.
BUT... I have preached forever that you don't need the boys around to do details and they are entitled to go away and have fun....
I WAS a little miffed that I was 'told' and not at least 'asked' (even if it was just out of courtesy and not for real)....
So... I guess I'm not as laid back as I thought I'd be....
Oh well.....
I think I'm just JEALOUS! (green with envy)

The party was supposed to be a few guys but all the married men from college got together, lobbyied their wives (with offers of Coach purses probably) and now it's grown to 10 guys and counting!!!!
Girls, I need to top him!!!!!!

It could be a lot worse. 3 weeks is plenty of time to cure hangovers, heal black eyes, and get yourself together.
You should be flattered that all these people are celebrating him and his decision to marry you!!

oh yeah, i am over that.... i'm happy for him. it's funny what a few days will do.

Lisa, I am a VERY bad influence when it comes to travel, but just think....what's more vintage movie glam than a Parisian coffee shop.
this info is based on now, but I know that they offer awesome deals to Paris over President's Day weekend..
he may be staying AT the Paris, but you'll be in Paris
I love the suggestions of going away, but I don't think that will be in our budgets!

Lisa, my FH's bachelor party is slowly topping 22 guys.... and still growing! They are going away as well, but there will be golfing involved somewhere, so I know he'll have to be somewhat sober to swing his clubs! I hope to ABSOLUTELY top his gathering... I want a posse that night!

Yes.... I know rationally that all will be fine - I'm more worried about myself than him....
I just like to get something out of the deal. Here were the two disclaimers...
1. He has to visit coach while there and get me something pretty.
2. Anything wedding-related I do that weekend he can not critique. He will have waived his right of refusal.... Table Numbers...here I come!
I'm very evil.
I love the thing about visiting Coach! Very appropriate
