she is sweet..what's with that other chick that was just in a relationship and her folks were scared that she just wanted to marry him for the fame and she wanted to break into showbiz? That chick was nuts.

the very next rose ceremony, after, that he left Sarah Canada first, I think b/c she lived at home w/ her parents & b/c she would get dunk & forget things

I think that Moana lacks the self-sufficiency needed to be married to a doctor...it's not so easy to have a thriving relationship with a ER doctor who works long, crazy hours. One of my former co-workers is married to an ER doctor & even though they are an extremely strong couple, they certainly have faced a few challenges due to his hectic work life. I think that Sarah is more self-assured & mature enough to better cope with that kind of relationship. IMO she has 'staying power'.

You do have a point. Travis picked his profession for a reason and knows what it would entail - a fullfilling career with long hours. If he is a rational and practical a person as he portrays himself to be and as his profession would dictate, he will choose the girl who would be willing to support him in his profession.

A girl who will be stable, grounded and willing to tolerate his long hours. I think both gals are great in their own way but I can't imagine free-spirited Moana staying home caring for the kids and wating up for the doctor to come home.

Ergo, Travis would pick Sarah if he's looking for someone longterm...

In the back of my mind I can imagine emotionally needy Moana calling Travis and whining for him to come home after he's had another 12 hour shift at the hospital....
