The BEST mascara

what in your opinion is the best mascara? I never wear mascara but I definitely want to on my wedding day.

what's the best one out there?

PS: I already tried 3 different kinds of waterproof mascara and they irritated me something awful!

waterproof mascara is just terrible all together.
I did use Clinique on my wedding day and was smudge free

Thanks! have you ever tried or heard anything about Lancome Définicils? a few people I know swear it is the best thing since sliced bread.

I use Clinique Lash Doubling and love it! Are you getting your makeup professionally done - I did and she came with makeup that she used.

I am having my makeup done professionally... but since my eyes are so sensitive, I thought it would be a good idea to try some different kinds first to see which one's work out best for me (making them the longest, fullest and clump free). and since I cannot wear waterproof, it would have to be something that will withstand tears.

Ah! Good thinking! When I have allergies and my eyes tear, my mascara stays on. If you go to Clinique, Estee Lauder, Mac or one of those, explain to them your situation, I'm sure someone can suggest a good one for you.

I use Clinique also, and I love it. I have sensitive eyes also, and can't use any of that stuff in the drug store. I have used Lancome Definicils (I think that is how it is spelled?) and it is great...but I don't wear a ton of makeup and it makes my eye lashes look HUGE, so I don't like it for regular day wear.

It is so unfair! my FH has these long thick gorgeous eyelashes. what the heck does he need them for!? wish I could steal them. lol

It's a little pricey for mascara, so if I were you I'd go to the counter and tell them you want to try it...wear if for the day and make sure you like it before you buy it.

I can't remember who makes it but its that XXL mascara, you apply the white first then the darker color. It really makes a huge difference!

XXL is made by Maybelline does it really make that big of a difference?
