Mine might be surprising to some...but it was at Bridgeview Yacht Club- truly unbelieveable!!

My own wedding was the best I have ever been to. It's been two years and I have gone to several weddings even one on a yacht this weekend and I can honestly say I loved mine the best and not only because it was mine. everything was perfect and people STILL talk about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom's wedding at Larkfield manner-we danced, ate, and drank, all night. It was so much fun.

My friends 2 years ago at Carlyle on the Green was awesome! Great food and lots of fun! They had a big cocktail hour reception and Gatsby style seating. It was so much fun!
But then again, I haven't had my wedding yet. That might top it!

Definitely Nicole's wedding at Land's End (Nikki24581) or something like that is her LIW's name-- I'm not sure if I have all of the numbers right lol. But it was so much fun OMG! I caught the Bo-k, the food and service was OUTSTANDING and the DJ kept me dancing until I had blisters on my feet!!! It was fantastic. We even sat with great people-- Vinny and I had a wonderful time... I HOPE we have that much fun at our wedding and I'm not even over-exaggerating!

My friend's at the Garden City Country Club was definitely outstanding, even compared to my friend's at Oheka.

My friends at Woodbury Country Club...well, the grooms grandparents happen to own it so they had the WHOLE place to themselves, it was the most insane thing in the world. They had the reception upstairs then the Venitian and after hours downstairs, we danced and ate the entire time!

I haven't been to many but was really impressed by the service at San Souci in Roslyn. If you want a nice small wedding for a good price it's a great place to go.

Did you really love the Carlyle? My FH and I are really close to booking our wedding there. I love the Gatsby decor as well!!

A friend had a Halloween themed weekend event. There was a haunted hayride that ended with a huge bonfire where we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores and sang stupid songs from camp. The next day they had a huge breakfast for everyone and a big costume party at night. By the time they got married on Sunday, we didn't think they could do anything better! She asked all guests to wear white or ivory - NO BLACK or COLORS. Which was like... okayyyy... but then she and her husband came into the reception and she was wearing this AMAZING red dress and he was in Black. It sounds weird but it looked AMAZING.

My MatOH wedding in June. It was at the EastWinds and while there were some bumps along the way (her MOH's doing) it was a beautiful wedding! It might have been because she's like family but I had a blast!

A tent wedding in the Hamptons. We partied till 4AM. The booze was flowing and the band rocked, they went overtime 2 hours and when they left they set up an ipod with speakers and we danced some more. I love that part of having a party in your own backyard no one throws you out after 4 hours.

Fh's cousin got married in her backyard in a surprise ceremony. Everyone thought they were there for her engagement party, but ti was really her wedding. Pics are in my community album.
We also went to a wedding at the Snapper Inn for another one of FH's Cousins. It was amazing. The food was awesome and so was the location.
