The Bitter End....

Anyone have reviews on the Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands.

My FH's coworker went there for his honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The website sounds almost too good to be true.... just looking for some input from the ladies.

I visited there for a day when we were on a sailing trip in the BVIs....and it is BEAUTIFUL! The other hotel I would HIGHLY recommed for a honeymoon is Little Dix in Vigin Gorda. Oh my, just unbelievable. We would have gone there if not for hurricane season.

We got engaged at Little Dix Bay in the BVI's and I cannot say enough about how PERFECT the BVIs are- I want to go back for my honeymoon.
Bittter End is also beautiful - with tons of water sports and things to do- definilty for the active couple- most people will charter a sailboat for a few day and island hop during there stay at the Bitter End.
Little Dix is much more of a relaxed atmosphere- dont expect too much partying there- but expect a first rate honeymoon.

i checked out little dix as well but i think FH wants more stuff to do. glad to hear good reviews of the BVI - we went to st. croix last year and loved it. which is why we are going back to the virgin islands for our honeymoon.

by the way, i just love the name of this resort. great name for a place to start our lives together

I loooooved the BVIs and had a wonderful vacation at the Bitter End. If you like to sail or boat, you are in for a treat! The resort has a great selection of boats you can use in the sound-hobies, lasers, small Boston whalers.

I recall our room being up on a hillside, lots of steps! Perfect to catch a nice breeze, and views to die for.

The snorkling in the BVIs is amazing. The BEYC has an onsite dive shop that runs snorkle and dive outings. Definitely go to the Baths, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and Peter Island.

Oh Sandy!! I stayed at the Bitter End a few years back, it was amazing !! Just stunning and perfect. The cottages are up on a hillside, with porches and a beautiful view. It was very peaceful, no radio, no phone, no TV (when we were there). Boating , sailing, snorkling, pina coladas on the beach. I loved it, and I think it would make a great honeymoon spot.
OOOHHH, I get excited just thinking about it! What a great choice!
