So my boss isn't coming in today and tomorrow......
So I thought I'd do some wedding stuff.... I called a hotel thats right by the Hall and wanted to know anything about the rates, etc.... I had to leave a message with the person who handle that.
What are so thing I should be asking her???

how much per room and how many you can block at a time? ask if they have a shuttle service and if its free? Free breakfast? and also how much a suite is and if you block X number of rooms do you get a discount on the suite.

i agree but would add to ask if u block a certain amount and they do not get taken do u pay..cause thats whats the deal with mine

It varies by hotel. Most hotels do not require you to put a credit card down - the guest who reserves each room has to. But, they will only hold my blocks until 30 days before the wedding. After that, the rooms get released and the price goes up. I have blocks of 10 rooms at 2 hotels. If the 10 rooms get booked, they will give us additional rooms.

Also ask how they will keep you updated as to the number of rooms reserved in your block and who they are reserved for?
One hotel (I didn't book with them) required me to call every so often and they would compile a list and get back to me.
The one I ended up using gives me a log in and I can check right on the computer.

We blocked at the holidat inn and dont have to pay for any rooms that dont get used.
