Has anyone ever been to the Bridal Building in Manhattan on Broadway near Macy's Herald Square? What is it like? I hear it is floor after floor (like 20 floors) of wedding relation companies and services. I'll take any comments or thoughts? My FMIL raves about this place b/c 30 years ago this is where she went...lol. I told her I never heard of any such place and through the internet found that it still exist.
This place isn't what it used to be, I heard the dresses are old and dusty.

Bc of this site, i didnt go there... heard bad thing about it also.... my mom went there wayyyy back so she she suggested it but i told her what i heard and we never went
In the city, i went to macys and rk bridal... if you're in need of some suggestions

It barely even exsists. I think about 20% of the whole building is bridal. Ive heard its not even worth going.

I had a random bad experience at RK bridal and went there out of desperation. I did order my dress through H&S bridal which carries Maggie Sottero and Sottero and Midgely dresses. Got a good price but see previous post . Did go to some other stores and try on some other dresses but cant say its worth a trip just for that.

i haven't been there since my sister got married years ago. i have to say though, that is where she ended up finding her dress...though she ordered it from another salon.

My sister got her wedding dress and mother got her MOB dress there 2 years ago. The dresses were great and they did a great job on alterations.
My sister ordered her dress September 15th for her November 30th wedding and they had it completely ready for her with a week to spare!
