And let them each choose their own dress. I have too many girls that are different sizes and shapes to have everyone wear the same dress
I am also going to do that.
I don't want any of my friends to feel uncomfortable...I also think it looks great when the BP wears different dresses, makes everyone look like their beautiful, unique selves!
I'm also going to pick a color and a designer and let the girls wear what they like my girls are ALL different.

that dress is very pretty. do you hav slim girls cuz that looks like it may show too much if they are heavy, material looks slinky
Its aline and empire waist, which will help hide any flaws, plus I am a true believer in Spanxs and push up bras. The material is a satin. I actually have a sample in midnight blue.

I think it's so pretty!!! What is the benefit of going during a trunk show?? Are the prices reduced?
Sometimes you get a discount. I got a discount when I went to the Simone Carvalli Bride Show. Also, you get a sneak peak of the spring/summer collection before it actually hits stores. So if this dress can't be pulled off, there are plenty of others to chose from. I completely recommend trunk shows.

omg! i was between that dress and another jim hjelm gown for my bridal party.....it truly is a stunning gown and all my girls loved it but I ended up with another jim hjelm.....I believe the price I got was $240ish for that dress. The back is what makes it.

Those dresses are beautiful!! Im actually going to the city in a few weeks to a store called here comes the bridesmaid...their website is www.bridesmaids.com I tried to pick the day that at least most of the BP can come. Since it shows the dresses online I asked them to look at some and pick out what they like and Ill pick out what I like and just see what looks best. I dont even have a color scheme right now so Im just hoping I can at least decide on a color that day!!![]()
By the way...how much do you think is a reasonably priced dress for the BP??

So I am bringing my bridal party to Bridal Reflections in a few weeks for the Jim Hjelm Trunk show. This is going to be interesting. I have one bm that is so anti anything I pick out that she makes me crazy, and than I have my MOH/Sis that is going to have my mom so up her tush that it will make her crazy. I am so not prepared for this. Thank god I am going out that night and drinking my sorrows away. And they serve champagne there at the Bridal salon too; Yum!
Has anyone started looking at BM dresses with the BM's present? Do you have an annoying member? Should I make just one of them try it on and let the others see? What sort of style are you going with?
FYI, this is the dress that I am looking to go with. I <3 it!! I think I may let them do their own accesories too.
Beautiful Dress!!!!! I have the same situation, I told one of my bm that i want the dresses to be tube top, so she started saying that tube top dresses don't look good on her. I strongly believe its my wedding, and I have every right to choose the dresses for my wedding. When it's gonna be their turn, I will wear what they'll want me to where. Couple of my friends that got married, even though I didn't like their bm dresses I still wore and never complained I didn't and so on.... So you just tell them that it's your wedding day, and you are doing all the planning :)

That dress is gorgous. I am brigning eight out of nine of my bms shopping in a few weeks I want to make sure it looks good on everyones bodytype. I want them to feel cmfortable, cuz as a bigger girl I know it ***** to be squeezed into a dress all day and feel uncomfortable...

i love that designer. all the dresses are gorgeous... maybe you shouldnt have everyone come to pick out the dress. just bring your MOH to decide and then you TELL them what dress they're going to wear. Thats what my FSIL did to me since i'm in her bridal party. honestly i dont even know what they look like...

i have 3 girls that are like 5'0, one that is 5'11, one with a size FF chest.... i dont know how im gonna accommodate all of them and still pick a style that I LIKE ( which actually is similar to the pic on here!!!)
I have the same problem, I am gonna bring my 2 MOH since they have the largest chests they can find something that they like and feel comfortable in.
