Okay - so since we are all on one heck of a tight budget....let's share some creative idea's that we're going to use for gifts for people so we don't have to spend an arm & a leg this holiday season!
1. Collage frame of family pictures through the years.
2. Making personalized CD's for family members - maybe one of all the songs you are playing at the wedding that mean something to THEM....or just songs that you know they'd love..
3. Putting together a photo CD slideshow. Give them the cd & load it onto a folder on their computer & make the screensaver be the photos. It's a digital picture frame without spending the $200 for one!
What ideas do you have??!?!?

Mee too!!!! I've already stocked up on brownie and cake mix.....the only ones getting gifts are my SS, coworkers (because I have to), my family does a SS too so that person - who happens to be one of my BM so its cool, and our immediate families. My friends know that things are tight this year so they will happily accept whatever crap comes out of my kitchen

a few years ago i bought a vase at mikasa (on sale) and bought some flowers from micheals and made FMIL a centerpiece for her table. If you catch sales you can get the flowers at a decent price.
you could also use theblurb.com and make family members albums of pictures (like i did for my epics - check my album) the book cost me $38

You'd be surprised but I also bake for co-workers and the only gifts I am giving this year is to close family and I was planning on buying FH some monogrammed cufflinks for the holidays as part of his wedding gift in addition to the traditional talis I have to give him (Jewish tradition).
I think some really good dollar stores have nice inexpenisve things as well if you look hard enough. Also there's the department stores like Macy's that has sales on decent costume jewelry that can be given as gifts.
