the calm before the storm?

everyone keeps asking me if i'm in the 'calm before the storm' period...i guess i am, because it is pretty calm. but, is this 'storm' really inevitable? i think i'm pretty organized, is there any way i can avoid it or am i just kidding myself?

why do things get so crazy just before the wedding??

I think I am going through the same thing right now. My wedding is the day after yours and I'm feeling pretty calm. The only thing that is making me nervous is that maybe I should be doing something that I'm not.

enjoy it! theres a lot you cant do until the month of the wedding (i'm the 'storm') right now but you can try to get some stuff done - like invitations addressed so they're ready to go and programs etc (all the stuff i waited til the last minute for). good luck

i went through the storm......
it's not that bad...ok, it was pretty crazy...but we were also moving into our new place at the same time because the closing got delayed and we moved in less than a month before the wedding, had to paint and get it ready so we could live there once we were married.
that was the major cause of the hectic 'storm'!
the things that need to get done at the very end were:
the placecards
the programs
the favors
whatever you're having them toss at you
centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner
favors for the rehearsal dinner
packing for the honeymoon
preparing for the honeymoon
last minute meetings with vendors

and i think that's about it.....i may be forgetting things becuase i blocked them out.
the two days before the wedding were INSANELY busy!!!! but it was all worth it!
