I remember when I first joined LIW and my wedding countdown clock said 273. I just looked at it and it says 146. I cannot, and I repeat CANNOT believe how fast time is going. I am getting so nervous. FH is cool as a cucumber, and I am still a wreck, because I know how fast the summer goes and before you know it, the wedding will be here, then gone.
I still want to lose 10 lbs, I still want to do so many things. And every day that goes by, is just one day closer to the big day. I know I am stating the obvious, but I guess I just needed to vent.

Re: The Concept of Time
Yeah, I was starting to freak this weekend thinking about everything left to be done, and how little time there is. Not just the wedding, but I have to pack my things, move, give some stuff away, etc. Then there is the name change looming later on, plus my state taxes, I could go on and on.
Somehow it always gets done. I think the guys invest less emotionally into the wedding though, at least in general. FH looks at being married seriously, but the wedding is just a day with a party to him. Guess I should take the same attitude reallY!

Re: The Concept of Time
I feel for ya. I had a moment like that last week, I really don't look at the daily countdown, and last week I glanced at it and did the math. On the 12th of next month, I will have exactly 6 months, and so much to do! I am freaking!

I totally hear you!
I am moving out of this area of the country 5 weeks after the wedding. I AM FREEKING OUT!!! Despite my planning for the last year and a half (what have I been doing?!) I still feel like there is so much left to do...on top of finding a new home, applying to schools, and relocating!!

hey date twin, I so hear you. I joined here over a year before our wedding date and can still remember when DF and I had over 400 days. It really does fly by. How much do you have left to do? Except for photog/video, tuxes, and small purchases we are pretty much done. I know I need to get on the photo thing...

Yes, it is amazing how quickly time goes... I just hope it slows down the week of the wedding so there's enough time to get things done and to enjoy it all!!

Re: The Concept of Time
Don't you hate it when people tell you to get moving, what are you waiting for? I suppose they have good intentions, but it tends to negate all the work that has been done.
There is a lot of pressure to have the perfect day, and I think that's part of the problem. I keep telling myself as long as FH shows up, I show up, and the minister arrives, those are the important things. At times I still get anxious.
