The Coral House or Window on the Lake

Im recently engaged! Yay! Trying to plan an Oct. 2007 wedding. We are going to look at Windows on the Lake and Coral House next week. Any comments? Anyone know the price range for each place??

Does Windows on the Lake offer Inclusive Packages? I read that they do??

Thank you!

My brother got married at Windows in 2001??They had an inclusivepackage, theDJ was great and the room was very pretty...the ceiling with the sky/clouds.
Good Luck
I think the prices were very reasonable.

I almost booked the Coral House... nice rooms, nice cocktail hour place... food was great at the tasting. gave us a price of $52.00 a head for a Sat. afternoon in Feb.

I dont' know anything about Windows on the Lake.

Do a search on the boards.. something will come up.

Windows on the Lake does offer a full wedding package that is reasonable, but in order to use Windows, you must guruantee at least 150 guests, otherwise they make you use the beach club estate.

This is the reason I didn't use them. I wanted to bigger ballroom.

Congratulations!
I'm getting married at the coral House and I just read a bride's review about it (look at the bride's review - 7/2/06 wedding) and she gave it a great review. They gave me a good price for March (Oct. should not be too bad either) and they include so much. The centerpieces are free, seat covers, personalized menus, and place cards included and they threw in an extra half hour (that might be common though). They also gave us a food tasting the first day we looked at the place and my FH, his father, and I all loved it. Linda really worked with our budget. Don't know much about the other place but I do know it is beautiful. Check out the reviews.

I am having my reception at the Coral house. I love the colonial feel of it and the pricing is just right. They do include a lot. I got my seat covers, place cards and center pieces all included. They are defitiely the way to go.
As far as windows my bestfriend/sister in law to be is getting married there. They got a package deal. Coral house doesnt do that.

I have been to windows twice, coral never

my windows experiences were about 2 years apart.. the 1 one in about 2001-2002 was great... staff was a little confused but the reception went on beautiful food was good...
2nd one about 2003-04 the food wasn't so good just tasteless.... and staff sitll not that attentive
However im sure staff has off days... so id count that in.. i just hope my wedding isn't an off day wherei get married!
honestly the first one was really great ....

good luck!
