the crazy staph infection...

Has made its way to my school! I am so grossed out and nervous about it! i knwo the risk is very slim but scary none the less...

oh we dont have it yet... but all the kids had to empty out their lockers so they could be disinfected this weekend ... crayz stuff... and yeah and my college has been on the news b/c we had 10 cases of it.... maybe i was the one who brought it out to the island hahahahah

make sure you wash your hands alot and keep hand sanitzer on you

it is very rare you can only get it if you have contact with someone showering in the gym, or skin contact you will be fine, just use antibacterial soap

actually you can get it if you touch the infected area or the puss...in an elementary school its not as rare as you might think!

Its so scary!! I get so mad when I hear the stories. I don't know what they could possibly do to confine it, but I wish I could let my younger brothers stay home from school until it goes away!

Yikes..that is scary.

Elementary school kids aren't known for their germ-fighting skills!!! it's times like this that I'm glad I'm not a parent..i would be going crazy with worry!

yesterday, they sent out announcements to all the teachers to read in class bc the kids spread some crazy rumor that people were dropping dead in our school, which is simply not true.

fyi- overuse of sanitizers/anti-bacterial products promotes the development of crazy staph bacteria.
