The Crow`s Nest

Hi Taylor, I went to a wedding, last september at the crows nest. Its a weekend party. theyv have like a bonfire on Friday, wedding on saturday, party on Saturday night, and i think a brunch on sunday morning(i think thats xtra). We didn't do the whole weekend thing, just the wedding day. It was nice, but i didn't like the whole dinner thing. it was buffet style, under a tent, which is fine but they had huge messy lobsters that barely fit on the plates, and you had to keep going up just to make a decent dsinner. also, you got called up by tables, other than that it was nice, But you have to pray for nice weather! hope this helps!

The Crow`s Nest

I was there for a wedding last Oct. Its very casual, plastic lawn chairs at the table and paper napkins. The food was good but not abundant. We were a 1/2 hour late and there was Nothing left at the cocktail hour. Dinner was a Surf and Turf buffet which was tough to do for 200 people. For a small group it might work better. One word of caution, I remember the bride telling me were a lot things they needed to add at the last minute (like a cake) so ask a lot of questions about what exactly is included.

The Windjammer

I don`t know about the Crow`s Nest, but I can tell you The Windjammer, which is very close to The Crow`s Nest, has amazing food! (At least that`s how it was a few years ago when we were there). The dining area looks out over water, as do the rooms, which have private decks. The rooms aren`t anything outrageous but they are nice. And we didn`t use the deck because of mosquitos ... but it`s still among the very best places we`ve ever had dinner.
