DH and I are looking at one. We already saw the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander & Mazda Tribute, and the Pacifica is in the running right now.

I would say get the car w. the best fuel economy- b/c prices aren't going to come down any time soon.

The PAcifica is nice looking. I like the fact that it has AWD. I would probably stay away from purchasing the Pacifica for this year, until 2005 because of two reasons. The first one is that it is a first year vehicle, and I am sure there are many bugs and recalls that need to be worked out of the truck. The second reason is that it is a chrysler, and Chrysler is known for having many problems with first year vehicles. I would stay away from purchasing this truck probably until 2006.
Have you looked into Subaru? The outback or Forester are really nice, quality cars that are very reliable and they will give you years of trouble free use. Scott

I really like the Pacifica. Chrysler is now made by Mercedes - it's a great looking car!!!!

You mean, Chrysler is now owned by Mercedes. That doesnt make Chrysler a better car company than they have been in the past.
