The day after your wedding. a POLL

I have a friend about to take the plunge and she seems to think she is going to be running errands the day after the wedding simply because the places will be 'on the way.' We've tried reasoning with her that this is silly talk. What do you think?

granted, this is a mini-HM for her...so even if you are delaying yours as well...do you really want to go right back to 'everyday' or cherish the sweet time and worry about that stuff later?

i have over a year left and i actually had this conversation with FH already:

Me: so the day after the wedding i am going to go get a nice mani/pedi

Him: aren't you going to have that done FOR the wedding

Me: well yeah but for the wedding i will have wedding colors - and for the honeymoon i need honeymoon colors

Him:

Betsy, It's okay to run errands the day after your wedding! Don't let the Bridentologists tell you otherwise! I was at Roosevelt Field the day after my wedding dropping off tuxes, what's the difference betwween that and dropping a few rolls of film off at CVS?
Either way, enjoy your wedding and your HM and your pictures!!

i must say im with betsy and tilde. I would be so anxious for the pictures...and i want a friday wedding and we leave for the HM on sunday...so why not is my opinion?? i mean this may all change as it gets closer...and it won't be a priority...but maybe it's jsut me.....and I love the i need honeymoon colors on the nails

stupid me is sitting here trying to pic which one i would vot for and then took me about a minute to realize they are ALL THE SAME! so i guess my vote would be that the photos could wait!

Not me, I will be relaxing and going on HM

I actually like to call myself a photo whore....i take my camera everywhere and LOVE pictures!!!! The benefit of digital is I can throw them up on the comp and look right away....but i don't know how patient i will be waiting for the table cameras....and i would look at it as i need to buy sunscreen...might as well drop em off while i am there so they are developed when i get back

I dont mean to be the one to convince you to go straight to the HM but at this point in time i dont know if i could wait

I vote for steal the cameras, because that is the ONLY way she wont do it! Now i will be on my honeymoon on the 18th wondering if betsy did or did not drop off the film.

the best part is that I had planned all along to steal them and drop them off for her...she just bothered to tell us her plan was to take them on their way out of town...we will have none of that! lauren and i just want her to ENJOY her first full day of wedded bliss and not worry about driving to Target to drop them off! We will also make sure they are all used up! So, to those attending, if they aren't used up, we'll be filling them up[post wedding]!!!! YAY!!!! Betsy, I can't believe your wedding is Saturday....it's finally here!!!!!!
