I have a friend about to take the plunge and she seems to think she is going to be running errands the day after the wedding simply because the places will be 'on the way.' We've tried reasoning with her that this is silly talk. What do you think?
granted, this is a mini-HM for her...so even if you are delaying yours as well...do you really want to go right back to 'everyday' or cherish the sweet time and worry about that stuff later?

the best part is that I had planned all along to steal them and drop them off for her...she just bothered to tell us her plan was to take them on their way out of town...we will have none of that! lauren and i just want her to ENJOY her first full day of wedded bliss and not worry about driving to Target to drop them off! We will also make sure they are all used up! So, to those attending, if they aren't used up, we'll be filling them up[post wedding]!!!! YAY!!!! Betsy, I can't believe your wedding is Saturday....it's finally here!!!!!!
Thanks girls!!! Even Bob shook his head on this one too, last night!! Now, I all I need to work on is getting from the hotel back to Port Jeff since my family is heading in the opposite direction to drive/fly home. Oh sh*it, Bob and I still have to make that ferry reservation from Orient Point - thanks for helping me remember these things!

I gotta tell you, I would drop them off myself . LOL we have our wedding sat night and we leave monday for the honeymoon. I would want all my photo's in hand for our 14 hour flight!

I had no energy whatsoever the day after our wedding! There was no way in hell I was going to get photos developed. The LAST thing on my mind!

that's the thing a lot of anxious brides don't realize, the day after [especially if you are travelling that day] you are exhausted and drained and you jsut want to get the heck out of dodge! and that's after day wedding! i can only imagine how tired you'd be after a night wedding! YIKES.

yes.... My wedding reception ended at 5pm. SO THAT WOULD MEAN I HAD PLENTY OF TIME, RIGHT?... NOPE.
My flight was at 8am the next day. I had not packed. We had lots of people coming to my house after the wedding. They did not leave until after 7, 7:30pm or 8pm. I did not finish packing until 10:30pm or 11pm that night.
It was 12:30am when I finaly went nite nite. Got up at 3:45 am the next to go to the airport. That was right after the London airport problem with carry on. So we had to go 'EXTRA' early.
The last thing on my mind were photos. Get me on that plane so I can take a nap.

you know i think they have one hour photo places at the airport that's what I was planning on doing

OMG!!!! This is killing me!! We got married on a Saturday and left for our honeymoon on Monday. On Sunday we were exhausted. I think we napped 3 times. At one point I thought about pictures, then I went back to sleep.
Betsy, think of it this way, there are much more 'FUNNER' things to do than dropping off pics.
