The Diet Pepsi Wars

I'm a total diet pepsi whore - DH is disturbed by the amount of caffeinne/aspartame I consume, however, he too is a diet pepsi junky. So much so that we call it crack (and our neighbors think that we do drugs because we refer to it in passing in the elevator but never specify that it's diet pepsi and not actual crack.)

I had a 24 pack of cans that I finished at a record pace and DH kept 'expressing his concern' blah blah whiny pants - you just felt like you weren't getting enough crack.

Last night, while putting dishes away, I found a can of diet pepsi that he tried to hide from me. Fool! You can't hide crack from me - especially in the kitchen. I wrote on a post it 'Fool, you can't hide crack from me' and put the crack back in its 'hiding spot'.

An hour after he got home, I heard him yell 'Dammit!' in the kitchen. He ran out, can in hand, 'Were you snooping?'

'Is that what we're going to call putting away the dishes?'

He put the crack in the frige and when he wasn't looking, I took it and drank it. He was pretty upset.

Round 1 - I win

I do the food shopping, so if I want to save something for myself I have a few hiding spots of my own!!

Hmmm, shopping=washing dishes.....

Is that why they think we LIKE to do the dishes??

@ hiding Pepsi from you. You really must drink a crapload of that stuff for him to take it there!!

I've been baking/cooking a lot so I use the measuring cups nearly everyday - he hid it NEXT to one of the measuring cups. Not even behind - NEXT TO it.

He is just mad cause he wants it.

ETA: Men are horrid at hiding things. Don't they watch tv? It is jam packed with brilliant hiding place ideas

Except when he's 6'5' and I'm 5'4', 'level' means 2 completely opposite things!!!!!! I can't tell you how many times I've needed to pull out the step-stool just so I can find the remote on TOP of the entertainment center!!!!!!!!!!

The best place to hide soemthing from Victor would be right in front of his face.
