How many brides have let their FH see what their dress looks like? Either in a picture or for real? I showed my FH a picture and everyone yelled at me.

I haven't.. I refuse and he doesn't want to see it.. but don't you worry, seeing it in picture as opposed to seeing it on his beautiful bride isn;t the same!

No looking here! It is a totally surprise! But, don't worry, you still have a lot of time so I'm sure he will forget what it looked like, if he hasn't already! You know men!

At first when I started looking, I was showing him pictures of the dresses I liked from magazines. None of me in any dresses. But, I too got yelled at and so haven't shown him anymore. I think he doesn't want to see them anymore anyway because he wants to be surprised.

I fell in love with my dress in the video I saw and he was seeing the video with me. When I finally found the dress I told him which one it was but he never got to see it on me. It really is a personal decision but I personally don't think its wrong if he just saw it in a picture. He is still going to be surprised when he sees it on you because it is alot different.

i have to say that i am trying my hardest not to slip! part of me wants him to know and the other part doesnt! but im going to be traditional and make him wait!

I have a picture of my dress that I found in a magazine hanging on the fridge but you can only see the top half. It looks totally different on me and he doesn't want to see the pics of me in it. I guess he wants to see me all dolled up!!

Mine's a secret also. I agree with the other ladies. Seeing it in a picture definitely won't do it justice. It when he's see's you in it!!

That's how I felt diamondgirl!! I can't hold a secret and everyone knows it I said I wouldn't show him and within 2 minutes of him walking in the door he saw the picture I will definately look different in it though because the girl in the photo had dark brown and I have blonde

He went with me when I went to order it to help me pick one from like 5/6 dresses... He is still trying to figure out how I'll walk with the train LOL

I showed my FH a picture. I wanted him to be excited to see what it would look like on me. Honestly though, if I showed him a line up of dresses right now he would never be able to pick it out, so it will still be a surprise!

I did not show him a pic because I don't want him to say he doesn't like it (there is no reason he wouldn't but just to be safe) and then I would have a real problem trying to find another one that I love

I almost slipped a few times. Don't worry Betty, he won't remember. If you want to fool him, whisper to a friend on the phone that you showed him a different dress to surprise him and he'll hear you and you could describe something totally different.
Then he'll be all confused. (and describe something he wouldn't like as much.)

I'm not worried, like jlf41 said, if I lined up a bunch of dresses in a row he would NEVER pick out the right one. If he did it would only because he would know what I like.

Well, don't yell at me when you hear this . . .
I showed my FH the picture of the dress on the model.
It looks TOTALLY different on me though !!
The models pic does it NO justice !!!
I wasnt going to but he was so relentless, day after day, pestering me.
So finally I went on Demetrios website with him and showed him 3 dresses, asked which he liked best, and he picked mine !!!!
So I let him know he picked correctly, and he was so happy
He hasn't pestered me since
