For the ladies who got their dress already, how much did you have to leave with them to get the dress?? The place told me 60%, is that the normal? or are other places different? just curious....thanks

i think mine was half down to order. i could be wrong, i still had the dress on & was in my own little world when my mom was asking.

The place i got mine let me put a little less, because they only accept cash which i didn't know about and i didn't think i was going to get my dress that day. So they let us put less down that day and I can go back and put more down as i want to

for the dress i bought ( and then returned ) i had to leave 50%....i think thats pretty standard

I was wondering about this too - thanks ladies. I found a dress that I LOVED at Priscilla of Boston and going back tonight to try on again with veils and the such and bring not only my Mom and Aunt (who came with me originally), but my FMIL as well. Anyone know how much of a deposit you must leave for POB? I have 3 deposits going out this week...and all I am seeing is dollar signs Why are weddings so darn expensive?!

We paid in full when I ordered the dress. I have heard of others leaving half the price as the deposit, balance due when they pick it up

I've heard places usually required 50% down...so I think 60% down is too farfetched.
