The economy strikes again...

Hey girls,

I graduate from law school in two weeks and I just lost my job for September. If any of you know of law firms who are hiring please FM me. Thank you!!

I heard that my office (I work for the city) is actually taking on a whole class of associates that are being paid half salary by big firms for their first year until they can have jobs in their real firms -- sorta pro-bono, but they'll actually be making more than we do.

It sounds like you're in a really good position if you already had a job before law school ended (I didn't get my first job until the day after the bar exam), so hopefully you will get snatched right up by another place. Not a stress you need, I'm sure.

I wish you all the best! I'm looking for jobs like mine in NC now and hopefully will be able to find something... it's a scary time.

Sorry to hear, my FH is a lawyer and I know how bad that particular profession is right now. Lots of lay off and paycuts.

I hope you find something soon
