Favors... I HATE favors!! I don't understand the concept of I invite you to a party, you eat, dance and drink top shelf liquor on MY expense, then I have to give you a gift to thank you for coming??? Then some of these balsy guests don't even bring YOU a gift??? Doesn't make sense to me who came up with this stupid idea but it ****$!!!
And of course, God forbid we don't give a favor at parties that my family throws nor at a wedding, it is talked about till kingdom come. I have heard from my parents friends on past parties they have attended: Such and such didn't even give us a favor! The nerve....
The favor could be a toothpick, but as long as these people have something in their hands to take with them they are happy. So I have to suc$ it up and get something.

That said, my whole theme is based around candles so I will probably get them taper candle holders from Mikasa or a crystal warehouse my mom knows about in NJ. They will also get the votive holder with their name on it so I think that is more than enough!

i am donating to the cancer society- they have a wedding scroll program. my favorite grandpa inthe world died of cancer and he always said he wanted to be at my wedding. everyone at the wedding will get a a scroll with a message saying that a donation has been made.... the cancer society provides and prints up the scrolls. FM me if you wold like the name and # of girl I am dealign with
