The fine print...

The fine print...

Hi Ladies

We are about to sign our florist contract. What's should be included in the fine print? Anyone sign and then realize they should have added something, etc?

Like should you have a definite day of when you'll see your samples by? She arranged something quick when I was there to help give me an idea. I was clueless and she was an angel! But I altered things through email with her a bunch of times and I'll def need to see what it's going to look like.

Should there be anything else? I feel it's pretty general and I'm just wondering if anyone else has some kind of in depth florist contract. A friend from work worried me. She booked with JacknRose a few yrs ago and she said there were all these crazy stipulations in her contract.

Thanks!

I didn't sign until I had pictures of my sample (i took them and they were e-mailed to me), I had a breakdown of all flowers being used, and how much of everything. It also mentions that it's an 'estimate' and that changes can be made as in to the number needed of each (Bms.. Bouts, etc), as well as possible additional changes if needed. Just try to think up anything that could change and make sure it's possible to have changes.

yes make sure you can upsize or more important;y downsize if you need to.
I got my estimate for the most tables my hall can hold but I don't think I will have all of toes tables at the wedding so I signed for 14 cps but if I only need 10 cps I can take out those and the total price will go down.
