Thanks - interesting. FH and I have lived together for almost 3 years. I do not think that living together makes us more likely to divorce, in fact I feel quite the opposite. We already know each other and our little quirks and habits. We know we are definitely compatible with each other. I think in this day and age of high divorce rates, I personally would not marry someone unless I lived with them beforehand. Just my opinion...

Re: the first 100 days of marriage...article
See, I just dont get why living together makes you a higher candidate for divorce. It's a great article for those not living together and maybe some that are- but for me- i'm sorry to say - I couldn't get through it. FH and I have lived together for 4 years and form the moment we decided to move in together-we openly became one as couple with a capital 'C'. We shared our home with his daughter-so we became a family, we open an account as one, we shared equally all responsibilities, etc.
People have told me that it still changes after you tie the knot b/c couples cant grasp the difference. But I honestly think we have and always will.
I'm sorry this is so long and I hope the article does help some but the main thing I think to always remember is to RESPECT each other and be OPEN with each other.
