I thought they were starting construction on it to turn some of those rooms into condos. Unless thats part of the sale terms, to keep it as such. who knows. I'll ask FHs family, they are friendly with just about everyone in that place. FHs brother works there as well

I was thinking about booking a room there for the night of the wedding, but will it even be the Garden City hotel??!

I called there today and they told me the hotel is not closing. I asked for my August 2008 wedding but if its for sale how do they know right.

We were just in there last week and asked because we heard a rumor..and they said no no...its not going to be sold

When I went to the girls night out at Fortuneoffs I spoke with the representative from The GC Hotel. My wedding is June 14, 2008 and she said we would have no problem reserving rooms. The only thing she said would not be available are the suits as they will already be under construction by then. Im confused by the article because if they're selling it why would they bother with a remodel...Im going to call there tomorrow to follow up!

I use to work at the Hotel and from my understanding they are NOT selling it!! They ARE doing quite a bit of business deals within the hotel such as renovations with Condo's so on and so forth. Posh closed bc under the new terms they were not aloud to have a club with people living in the hotel. I can keep you posted as well but i don't think u should worry!!!
