Be able spend money without checking to see if its okay, or I should say not feeling like I HAVE to check to see if its okay!

The only thing I really miss is the idea that I could meet someone and have that 'new' feeling again. Those long conversations into the night getting to know one another, that first kiss, etc.

Being able to spread out at night while you're sleeping and not worrying about hitting him or getting hit...
and.... the closeness with my single friends.. Needless to say it's not there anymore...

being able to decorate the way i want. we usually agree on things, but there have been some things i REALLY wanted to buy that he was dead set against. (i like unusual pillows to spruce up the boring couch, and funky patterns for the bed)
miss my alone time!!! (i don't WANNA stop playing SIMS because YOU'RE bored!!!) i get some alone time, but not enough (most of his friends are out of town)

Re: the grass is always greener
when I was single..
never worried about money or having to call.. or what I ate.. or fashion.. or money...
wow.. did I mention that already? LOL
I always wanted a relationship.. now I realize how much work it is.. sometimes I envy the SINGLE people... it was a good time that I think I could have taken more advantage of.
Does that mean I don't love FW and don't want to be with her?.. Hell no.. but there are a lot of perks to singlehood I took for granted.

Re: the grass is always greener
I miss having the bed to myself, being able to spend a lot of time with my friends (we hardly see each other anymore), and watching what I want on TV. DH annoys me so much with the remote that I end up going on the comp or reading instead.

Me too. It is hard to think I will never kiss anyone else again! But, I wouldn't ever want to be single. The looking process is so hard.

Re: the grass is always greener
lucky you
we have a bill organizer in the kitchen where we put all receipts and bills before they are paid and filed
how hard is it to put the receipt in the organizer, she keeps them all in her purse and i never see them
then the bill comes and i have to ask her what is this charge for?
