the Great DOC Debate
I’ve read a lot of great feedback on day of coordinators (including the one I am considering, Cloud Nove Events), but I’m racking my brain trying to figure out if it’s right for me.
My main concern of course is budget. A DOC was not in our original game plan. Plus we are probably going to be spending a bit more on the DJ than we expected, along with other unforeseen costs. My second concern is having too many cooks in the kitchen. We are going to have 2 photographers, 3 staff with the DJ, 2 staff with the photobooth, plus the venue staff, which we have a lot of confidence in. We are a low-key couple and will only have about 125 guests so already that sound like a lot of people working for us!
On the other hand, what led me to looking into a DOC in the first place is my anxiety and concern with executing my vision. Meeting with Cloud Nove and reading about DOCs is like a dream come true.
So my question is, is it worth the splurge or should we use our money elsewhere?
