Any of them wearing a flower that is not white or ivory in color?
My florist recommended he wear hot pink/tangerine to match my bo-k. i was hoping he wouldn't read the contract and i could just slide by until the wedding day (and of course it would be too late) but i felt guilty because i knew he would be so mad if he had to wear a pink flower so after a night of drinking it came out in front of the gm no less and he wasn't very happy.
so now i guess we'll do ivory........
anyone else have this problem?

No I definitly wanted Ivory... my fmil flipped out when I even SUGGESTED red... something about for a wedding it should be white.. at least for the groom ( I dont know if thats true or not b/c she likes to make up her own rules sometimes) But HONESTLY.. Your FH didnt pick your bok.. I mean how mad would you be if he picked some ugly color you hated???? Let him wear what he wants. Its his day too

My FI is wearing a red rose. I do not have any red roses in my flower scheme but he wants to wear it because he said that red means love and he is marrying the woman that he loves plus that is the only thing he asked for so I gave it to him. The GM are wearing a pink rose and the Best Man is wearing a green rose.

my fh will be wearing white to match me... the groomsmen however i will have wear red to match the girls dresses, along with a red tie..

My FH is wearing a burgandy calla lilly with white stephonidis (sp?) and the GM are wearing an orange calla lilly. My FH is not upset at all. I think he just want's me to be happy and he knows it's not worth fighting about

My FH is wearing a white calla with white stephanotis. But I don't see a problem with wearing color. But I say let him wear what he wants, not what the florist wants him to wear.

FH and I have argued over the color of his bout. I'm having ivory, pale yellow and terracotta colored roses in my bouquet (we're doing warm fall colors) so I wanted him to wear the ivory and he wanted a bright colored one and didn't like the other colors in my bouquet. We haven't come to a compromise yet, but ye I have the same problem. His argument is that he didn't chose the colors of my bouquet, so why should I chose the color of his bout.....

FH is wearing ivory and stephanosis. The GM are also wearing ivory but with some delphinium

My FI said the same thing. That is why I gave in and is making him have a red rose.
FI wants his to be totally different than all the other men... I think I am rubbing off on him. So I was thinking a white rose for him and a white calla lily for the dads and the best man and something different for the ushers... but what?

Dh wore an all stephanosis one for our pictures, ceremony & cocktail hour. For reception he wore a lavender rose w/ stephanosis. It worked out very well.

My FH is going to wear stephanotis - the GM are going to wear a rose that matches the BM's bouquet

My DH and the fathers all wore white with raspberry heather... the groomsmen wore sterling roses with raspberry heather.

we are just doing a little thing of stephanotis for him w/ a crystal threaded through, thats what he wanted and i love the idea! i would talk to him and see what he wants!
