The Hidden Truth Behind Hotel Drinking Glasses

OMG THIS IS SO DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gross

I saw this a couple weeks ago

I actually stayed at one of those hotels....and my FH always uses the drinking glasses to wash his mouth out when brushing his teeth...i on the other hand do not!
poor FH

i USED to do that.. OMG not anymore.

That is gross... but what can ya do? just dont drink from em then right? What you dont know wont hurt ya... just like all the ummm
'sweet leavings' from the couple that were in that hotel bed before ya... cuz u know they dont wash those comforters

I stayed at a really nice hotel in NYC when I was interviewing and they left little cards on the bed, in the bathroom etc saying they want to help the environment and listing stats about how much energy and waster is wasted daily in a big hotel for washing things.

they said they will wash the sheets every night unless you leave out a little card, then they wont wash it that night (but will wash when you leave). they said the same thing about towels -- anything on the floor or tub etc will be washed, but if we want to reuse anything to hang it up or fold it. then they will wash everything after we leave.

unfortunately i was only staying one night, but if i was staying more i wouldnt have minded them not washing my sheets every single night. it really does add up to a lot of wasted water....

the cup thing was gross though! i always use those eww

Ive seen that at alot of hotels. Thats good, they are trying to conserve water, but I hope they do wash them when each guest checks out.
