The Hits Just Keep On Coming - Literally - UPDATE

I just want everyone to know that 11 days before our wedding, FH was playing softball and was hit in the head with a ball. He has a HUGE welt above his left eye that Janna has stated is the size of a golf ball but in the shape of an egg.

AND to top it all off, he thinks he is still playing his playoff game NEXT Tuesday night, a mere 5 days before our wedding! I don't fu@*ing think so!!!

UPDATE:

After getting clunked in the head and 'not feeling right' FH came home from work at 11:30 AM. Guess where he is now???? Yup, playing $*()A#$) softball.

Funny you mention that...it's exactly what he said. He said as soon as he got hit, his first thought was 'oh sh!t, Darlene is going to kill me. There's no way in hell she will let me play next week now.'

Well if he gets hit above the left eye, at least it would match. Though I doubt you want to marry a guy who looks like hes growing a pair of horns. I agree with you, your fh needs to take a break from baseball until after the wedding. You might want to get him a face sheild as a gift. j/k I'm sure he can wait.

I know that feeling. DH got a concussion and hurt his leg playing football last September. One month before the wedding, I asked him to stop playing and he did. That was of course after Mom broke her back and my sister got clocked in the nose when I popped the trunk at the airport.
