The 'Honey, I'm Bored...' Thread

Okay Ladies and Gents...we've been with our SO's for a long time and I know that my husband and I aren't the only ones who get a little bored and do nothing all weekend b/c we can't think of anything to do. We wind up going to the same stores, the same restaurant and clean the whole weekend and it gets boring!!! So let's share some ideas!

Scrabble
Poker
Gin Rummy
Bake a cake together
draw faces on each others toes with sharpie markers

That's funny, I used to draw smiley faces on my socks with a Sharpie so they wouldn't get mixed up with DH's.



We've instilled a new rule ... we can only go out to dinner to places we have never been before.

We have pretty much every edition of trivial pursuit, which we play a lot. We also play scrabble, rummy, rummicub, phase 10, and uno quite often. But we're the same way. I feel like we practically live at Target, for lack of something better to do.

We play video games together, every once and a while we'll do a puzzle, we even resorted to coloring once.

We're big outdoors people..... go to the beach (yes, even in the freezing cold winter and walk around.) Stuff like that. We both hate shopping, so the thought of a store to spend some time is not appealing to either of us!!

We love to go to the stores out here together (we live out by the outlets).
We play video games together.
Make really lame jokes to eachother for hours on end!
Watch movies(when he can talk me into it, I hate movies!)
Go for a ride
Go to the wineries
Go to Borders and read at a table in the cafe.

I think we're boring!

We do home improvements...
definately trivial pursuit (we love the 80's and 90's ed)
rummy and poker
renting cheesy movies

We play dvd trivia which I'm the champ at. I never lose, rent movies, go to the movies. It really depends on our mood.

Ooo, this reminds me....we play that game Scene It. If you don't have it, definitely get it. It's basically a movie trivia game. It's fun!

we go to target a lot - its really kind of sad. but it helps to pass the time. fh likes the movie/video game section.

i would never have a problem getting to target - they have a starbucks, we could all meet for coffee..

Hmmm...now does this qualify as SMART..or as having a brain full of useless movie knowledge???? Just kidding. I hate playing those games with JT because he knows EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING. We should have a tournament of you vs. JT and me and Bri can sit and roll our eyes all night
