the hotel just called....

So the hotel we blocked rooms at just called(Four Points Sheraton) to let us know that they are having problems with changing the name (they were the Inn at Plainview) SO, for the 'inconvience' they are going to change the rates for our guests from $139 to $109 and they are going to throw in a free breakfast the next morning for all of our guests!! How great is that!!

Re: the hotel just called....

Everything is all renovated, they are just having problems with the town and changing the name. I just hope my guests don't get confused, because the directional cards say Four Points Sheraton!!

Re: the hotel just called....

I was just there yesterday and they are having an 'open house' on August 23rd for brides and grooms. There is actually a big Sheraton sign on the tower now so your guests hould be OK.

Thats awesome Katie!! Did they give you an update on the work they are doing? FH says the addition to the hotel looks done but he isn't sure about the inside area yet... I am going to try calling sometime this week...

Re: the hotel just called....

Yes, all of the renovations are done on the inside, they are just having a problem with changing the name, I have to go there on Wednesday to drop off stuff for the guests, so I will check it out for you and let you know!
