has told 5 of my guests who called this weekend to reserve rooms that my wedding has been cancelled!!!
I am so irritated!!! They did this once last month but I didn't care b/c my invites weren't out yet.

Why would they do something like that. Has the wedding been cancelled? Even if it was, what gives them the right to tell your guests. I would be annoyed now as well and I would call the manager immediately and throw a fit. (maybe you will get a free room, : ))

That's odd, so basically, they've told at least 6 people your wedding has been cancelled???
That's horrible, have any of your guests been able to block a room?

The wedding is NOT cancelled.
They told my MOH that they can't find the block of rooms, the wedding has been cancelled but then offered to book a room for her any way on that night!!
It's RIDICULOUS. I agree with you though, even if it was cancelled, what gives them the right to tell people that?
Yes, we have 30 rooms blocked already from our Save-the-Dates. It's so weird!!

That is complete BS. I would call the manager there and let them know that you are upset, embarassed and annoyed. Because they obviuously dont know how to do their job, they shouldnt be able to cause you stress. I really think you should call them and give them hell. Good luck.

That's kind of funny they asked your MOH if she wanted to stay anyway.
That's weird that there are 30 rooms under the block taken already and they are telling people it's cancelled.
I'd definitely call them, I mean you're under contract with them!
