You get the point. I'll start.
As far as planning goes...my sister, has been Amazing. My FH, father, stepmom, BMs and ILs have all been amazing.
My mother, on the other hand, can't - for the life of her - seem to remember our wedding DATE. She couldn't care less about seeing my dress or the BM dresses or my ideas for invites or flowers. No. She wants to know if I've looked at any MOB dresses. And she wants to tell me who she THINKS I should invite - not that she's contributing monetarily OR emotionally.
There. That's all. Not looking for anyone to make me feel better - just needed a place to vent...so here it is. The 'Vent Thread'...feel free to add your vent. It feels better when it's all out.

There are only 3 months left and my mother has not ordered her dress yet...she doesn't even know what she wants...she told me she was going last week to decide and order a dress and she never did!!!

First off ladies..Im sorry for your troubles I cant stop fighting with the groom...ever since my ring drama a month ago( when we lost then first one)..we are bickering over really dumb things..it ****s and its stressing me out. Our wedding is 4 months away..and Im thinking we need some pre marital counseling. Im sad.

We have not been fighting much, but monday fh and I got in a BIG fight over something stupid and he punched a hole in the wall. We live in an apartment in my parents house, and if they saw it they would FLIP. So today, I tell him he better do soemthing about it (meaning FIX IT DUMB A**). So I get home, and he hung a picture over it.

Girls...
Alicia...you and FH have been through so much ring stress that if you told me you weren't fighting i'd think that there was something wrong. I know I don't know details...but I don't think you need pre-marital counseling just yet...wait it out a little while if you can. These last 4 months are going to get even more stressful...we're all going to make it through!!!!!!

SUNNY!!! FH also likes to punch holes in walls and it's also not our house...and he also went out and bought a picture to hang over the hole...

Thanks Franks bride.. I think what scares me is its just a ring...so much worse could happen in life..if we are fighting over dumb things..how will we be when a family member is sick or sometng..we are supposed to stick together. Im terrified..because some days Im not liking him too much. We've never fought like this...we seem to argue every three/ four days..over DUMB stuff..we dont yell or scream..we just ignore each other..its insane!! Sunny..is it atleast a nice picture he hung up?

He also threw the remote and broke it into a million pieces- luckily he likes the remote more than I do.
He took a picture from elsewhere on the wall. now I have an empty spot on the wall and a picture in a dumb place.

Alicia...FH and I just went through something similar...we were fighting every day...but we were going through some very rough times...he had just found out his dad had lung cancer...he was starting a new job...my mother was in the process of moving out of state...I hate my job...and planning this wedding...talk about stress?!?! It got so bad that FH actually left for a few days...
But, we realized that just having each other was more important than anything else...
You are right...this is all about sticking together and that's what needs to be done...maybe let him know how you feel that lately instead of leaning on each other...you're acting like enemies...

I can't believe that my hubby refuses to go to the darn doctor j/k but this thread should keep going so that brides always have a thread to vent on

Hang in there.. I think both of you are sensitive.. kind of like 'whos fault was it' .. its wasn't your fault or his fault.. things happen.. Sometimes if you keep this stuff in.. it bleeds out to other things...again.. hang in there.. if you love him it will all work out.. good luck and tons of hugs..

Franksbride...thankyou!!! Its good to know this happens to other couples..Im scared to death..Ive thought of leaving for a few days..staying by my sister because It scares me that I can feel this way...I know its reality..noone gets along ALL of the time..its just scary right before a wedding.

He is incapable of having an opinion or sharing even just ONE feeling. (Although he ALWAYS tells me he loves me. ALWAYS. I just wonder what I LOVE YOU is code for sometimes )

I can't believe that the freakin' groomsmen did not get fitted yet in spite of the fact that I sent out reminders 2 months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe that only one of my freakin' BMs booked their hotel room and now the hotel is SOLD OUT!
I can't believe that several of my guests did not tell me that they aren't coming to the wedding! The only reason why I found out was because I called to confirm!
