The Inn at New Hyde Park?

Does anyone have an opinion about The Inn at New Hyde Park? I was there last week and they are in the process of doing renovations. They said it should be done by Sept. 07 because the owner's son will be getting married then.

Im a little shaky on booking a place without the large room finished (or even started yet).

I was also looking at the MIlleridge Inn both weddings would be around Christmas time.

I agree! I am actually in both weddings mentioned above. BUT, I personally would still be cautious about not actually seeing the room before I book. Do they at least have pictures?

they have a sketch of the outside and then a computer print of the large ballroom. The rest is pretty much staying the same. Their ballroom they have now will become the cocktail room. The new room will be twice the size.
i wanted the milleridge but the price is right at the New Hyde park inn.

I have been at a couple of things at New Hyde Park Inn...and I think its great!

If yo ulove it, I would ask if you could have something written into the contract that it will be completed by your wedding date..>i don't know if halls do that but it is worth a try...

Hello girls! Here is some info that we have on the Inn at New Hyde Park. It's currently going through remodeling. Just like other gals have stated, it's building a new ballrooom for 400 +. The bridal suite and and bridal party suite upstairs are beautiful and the artist renditions of the outside are gorgeous.

We really can't decide! Any ideas???
