If you have been there, tell me Where? How did you get there? Did you Got a Plane all the way to the keys? or did u Drove into the keys?

same! FH and I have been but for only half a day as a stop on a cruise.
we did have time for key lime pie though

FH and I have been to the keys several times and we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Were prob gonna go there for a few days on our HM too!!
We usually fly into either Miami or Ft Lauderdale and drive down.. its an AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS drive!!!!!
We usually stay in Islamorada/Long Key at a place called Lime Tree Bay.. its really cute and quiet... they have a dock for fishing and FH is OBSESSED with fishing!
We really love Islamorada, its located nicely between Miami and Key West.. so we can still go to Key West and be crazy and then come back to peace and relaxation... and the people are REALLY REALLY nice!
We have done so many different activities there so let me know if you need/want anymore info!!!

i went there for a wedding. we flew into miami and drove down to key largo...it was amazing....so beautiful

i looked into going a few years ago. I found the best price was to fly into miami and then rent a car to drive down instead of flying directly into the Keys.

I have been to Key West every summer for the past 3 years with my friends. We usually stay at the Casa Marina resort. Key West is the party place, the rest of the Keys are very laid back, there is lots of diving and fishing to do. They Keys are beautiful! We fly into Miami and rent a car and drive the 3 hrs to key west. I really wouldn't know of any other way to get around down there, you really need to rent a car.

FH and I spent a night in Key West...we drove down from Miami. The drive was stunning and a lot of fun! Key West was a great town....very small but lots of restaurants, bars, beaches...it really is lovely. I would do it for a honeymoon--why not? It's a lot of fun! We stayed at a bed and breakfast..can't remember the name but it was cozy, clean, and a really relaxing place to get away.

went there as a stop on a cruise and years ago, my ex and i went to go to the Everglades - (WHICH IW OULD NEVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS DO AGAIN!) LOL, but the drive from Miami was about 3 hours. It was a very nice place and quiet in certain areas. the Key Lime Pie is unbelievable!

Love it!
Fh's cousin used to live there (she worked for the State's attorney's office), and we visited.
Key West is great, and some of the places along Route 1 on the way down are great, too!
