The knot sale- name wording

Did anyone else notice the huge sale on the knot? And today there is an extra 20% your purchase with no minimum!!!


I want to get cocktail napkins and maybe matches.

My question is just my OCD flaring up, haha. I can't decide how to put our names. Right now this seems like a HUGE decision lmao!

Even though you're probably excited about seeing your last name be the same, I wouldn't put last name on the napkins.

I think on this type of stuff I'll be putting FH's first, but I know that part really doesn't matter.

I'm OCD with name wording, too!

I bought from them during another sale.

I like female first, followed by male. No last name.

how do people say your names? I always put his before mine bc i like it better.. he always said it should be the other way.

I have twin sisters and we always say the younger one before the older because it just flows easier.

His name definitely 'sounds' better first, but I feel like since my name will be first on everything (std's, invites, programs) maybe i should keep it first for this also.

I also love how this thread is going simultaneously with Alex's facebook status and multiple people are on both. Way to multi-task girls!

i think 'etiquette' says that before the wedding (invites, websites,stationary etc.) it's

her name, his name

then after the wedding it would be Mr. and Mrs. His last name.


but that's like old school emily post, i think i would stick with whatever you wrote on the invitations for continuity.

I am blaming you for the $80 i just unnecessarily spent on theknot!

Lol you cant say sale to me and expect me not to shop!

We got ours from the knot on a sale too (In my album)

The bride's name always goes 1st on all wedding stuff, from what I hear, bc after that it is always mr & mrs his name.

The lastname I think is un needed but that's how we did ours. They came out awesome & I love them

I agree with most, just first names. Now I have to go check out the knot love sales!
