The laziness that is my mother

I preface this by saying that I love her to pieces.

My cousin lives out of state and her baby shower is coming up - I ordered my gift today, called my mom to discuss what she'll be sending her whatever whatever.

My mom asked me to order the gift FOR her. Ma, you have a freaking laptop. You can watch Oprah and order it at the same time! She said, 'But you're already on the website and have the registry up.'

Because she gave birth to me, I complied.

hehehe...at least she didn't ask you to bring your cousin THE panetone!

My mother is the same way!

It's almost that time of year.

i would've ordered the worst gift on there and made the gift card sound as if she thought it was the greatest thing ever....just to mess with her.
