Yea, I know its very expensive. The problem is, our affair needs to be glatt kosher, and abigail kirsch is one who can do that. The only other options are:

1. Crest Hollow, which I still have to look at, but have a feeling I wont be a huge fan.
2. Places where I just use the location, such as vineyards and lofts (huge rental fees, and must bring in tables, chairs, tents, everything).

IDK, i have to figure out if it would cost more to rent out a location or have it at the lighthouse.

Everyone says the view from the lighthouse is completely gorgeous!! Also, my style is very simple/modern, not glitzy.

Thanks for the response barbie!

Most places offer Kosher you just have to give the amount for people who will be having that....is it all of your guests??? ....what type of place are you looking for??? in terms of location, type of venue , intimate...

unfortunately the OP is looking for GLATT kosher--vs. just regular kosher...which is a bit harder to come by.

I definietly think you should check out Leonards & The Royalton---my sisters co-workers highly recommended those two for Glatt Kosher.

Re: The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers

I have never been to wedding at the lighthouse but I have been a few other parties there and the food & service were both great. You also have a great view to take pictures.
