the little extras

hey!

Well actually the colors of our wedding (red, black, and white) are the school colors of the university we met at.

Our engagement shoots was at the school where we met, and for the second location we dressed up in the football jerseys of the little league team he coaches, and took the pics on that field. Our engagement shots will be part of our sign in book at the wedding.

We are thinking about doing charitable donations to two charities that represent the causes of our grandparent's deaths, since we wish they could have been there.

Since I like things to be different, we are having three different centerpieces. My girls each have a different dress (same color and fabric but different styles) ariadress.com.

Plus when I picked out my wedding dress, I thought about him. Some of the dresses were gorgeous, but they weren't 'us.' So I tried to find a dress that I wanted to wear walking down the isle to HIM, not just a dress that was fabulous.

My shower will be barbie themed, since that was my favorite toy as a girl (plus what is more girly than barbie)!

We are doing slipper baskets and car fresheners. We also got a matted picture of us...using one of our engagement photos....and are using that as our 'sign in,' so that we can frame it and start a family photo wall....

We plan on doing hotel gift bags, as well....
