I had high expectations after loving My Secret History years ago.
But in this book, I was disappointed. Loved the prologue, but the rest of the book just dragged and was bogged down in details. I couldn't get into it at all. In fact I started reading another book in the middle (Prodigal Summer, by Kingsolver which I enjoyed). I finally finished it only because I wanted to know what happened to Robin (and it was due back at the library today) - the ending was a huge disappointment. You don't even find out! And Harriett fighting off the druggies was way over the top.
