The man and his trickery

The man and his trickery

Last week, he went on and on about a surprise for me, that I'll get it for my birthday (23 days from today) and I'm totally gonna love it blah blah.

So I asked him to describe it. He said it's pink.

Commence Whine Mode. 'Don't get me anything pink, don't you know what I like, only I can buy pink things for myself, you don't know' and whine whine whine.

So I dropped it until yesterday. 'You didn't buy it yet, did you?'

'No, but I will.' He paused. 'It's pink.'

It's NOT pink, that I know.

What the hell did he get me?

I need more clues. It could have a teeny tiny portion that has a dot of pink and thus he says it is pink. I always pull that shiat on DH.

maybe the card is pink

or maybe he's confused about what pink is

I fight with Vic over blue vs. purple all the time. The guy doesn't know his colors still.

Stuff like that drives me crazy.

I am the worst. I have unrapped and then re-wrapped gifts to see what they were.

I racked my brain for days.

My only guess is that it's this:

or some bag from the collection in that print because we passed Kate Spade twice in Greenwich and I stopped to stare at it both times.

But I don't think that he even knows the name of the shop - so it can't really be that, can it?

It could be. Sometimes men actually have a clue and pay attention to the things we like... not often, but sometimes!

that made me laugh. Although once I had an argument with dh over if a color was pink or coral. I lost. It was very sad.

I love that collection! I kind of want the one with the lobsters on it, if only it was about 500 bucks less.

DH doesn't do bag gifts He says they are a waste.

I'd like to be present for the next blue vs. purple fight.

DH and I fight about colors on a regular basis. I swear he is color blind. Which is a little scary considering he is an interior designer and our livelihood depends on him working with colors.

oh, DH would be DEAD if he did this to me! [either by my hands or suicide from me nagging him endlessly about what it is!]

pink, but not pink....hmmm...a yard flamingo?
